The Gallerie is a boutique located in Aspen, Colorado.  The locally owned store offers an abundant collection of both established and emerging designers. There you will find classic to edgy, cocktail to casual, and everything in between.

The Gallerie wanted a website where they could show off the newest merchandise coming into the store.  Media Brigade implemented an easy to use content management system (CMS) that allows employees to quickly post photos of the latest arrivals.  We are also currently integrating an email newsletter and social media to promote the shop and website.

Aspen Film has a mission to entertain, enlighten, enrich, and educate through film.  Their programs “foster an appreciation for the art of movie making and its power to inspire and communicate a richness of ideas and cultures.”

When Media Brigade began talks with Aspen Film, there were many issues with the organization’s website.  The navigation was confusing, content was difficult to manage, and the visual design was far outdated.  The organization eventually requested a proposal, and we provided a simple, creative, and affordable solution to meet their needs.

We worked closely with the staff throughout the process and together achieved a design to satisfy the Board of Directors.  The end result was a clean and simple, yet characteristic presentation of Aspen Film. Kate Olson is a professional skier, yoga and pilates instructor, photographer, and writer.  She is also very tech savvy and active online with blogs and social media like twitter.

Kate had a website that was outdated in both design and function, and needed a new way to share and promote her activities. Media Brigade took on the project and worked with Kate to produce a website that is clean, functional, and reflects her personal style.

The platform for this project was Wordpress, a publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. Kate can now blog, publish photos, and update her site at will, and she loves the fact that her twitter updates show up immediately on her home page. After years of working for interior design firms in Phoenix and Aspen, this designer took the leap and began her own company, Kristin Dittmar Design.  Seeing Kristin’s dedication to her new company, Media Brigade immediately accepted the project and began working to help her launch the new business.

The main goal for the project was to display the strength and style of Kristin’s work in a clean, professional design.  Within weeks of launching the website people began to take notice, and Kristin had already landed one new client.  This case study is a perfect example of why the right concept and presentation is crucial to success online, and why deciding to commission a design studio should be looked at as an investment.  KDD will recoup its project cost many times over.

Foodie Aspen originally launched in 2006 as a basic guide to restaurants and nightlife in Aspen, Colorado.  It quickly became the #1 online source for dining news, information, and events, and has helped pave awareness of social media marketing in Aspen.

Cindy Baughn is a San Antonio native who ranks among the Elite Top Producers in the city.  The San Antonio Business Journal ranks her in the top 1%.  This is not a small task in one of the 10 largest cities in the U.S.

People that have achieved a high level of success often get locked into how they got there.  They believe thier methods worked before, so they should work forever.  Media Brigade believes that to continue to grow and to find more success, you must be willing to take chances and try new things.  This is what Cindy Baughn was looking to do when we started working together.

In 2007 Cindy realized her website was not up to par.  We contracted the project, integrated MLS, and implemented an email marketing campaign.  The San Antonio Property website now has a professional online presence, features Cindy’s listings, allows search for all local listings, and encourages visitors to sign up for the newsletter.

The mission of the Snowmass Capitol Creek Caucus (SNOWCAP) is “to preserve the rural character of our unique valleys, to protect their ecosystems, and to foster communication and participation within our community.”

A member of SNOWCAP’s Board of Directors contacted Media Brigade and requested a consultation.  We took a look at the Caucus’s website and immediately recognized that there was a lot of work to be done.  The site was half a decade old, and the organization had obviously outgrown the original design.  We submitted a proposal for a brand new website that would be built around SNOWCAP’s current needs, as well as grow with them into the future.  After votes, debates, and proposals from several other designers, the organization finally selected Media Brigade to lead the way.

Cantina became one of Media Brigade’s first clients over shots of tequilla.  There was a quick conversation with the owner, some notes on a napkin, and a handshake to seal the deal. The owner was not sure exactly what kind of design he was looking for, but he was brave enough to give us the creative green light.  We went in, shot photos of every detail in the restaurant, and started chopping the images up in Photoshop.  The final result was a website with a distinct feel that reflected the atmosphere and attitude of Cantina.
